Produced under the watchful eye of Master Distiller Dave Scheurich, with a proprietary mash bill, yeast, cooking, fermentation, and distillation procedure. The bourbon was aged in barrels air-dried by the cooperage and charred to a number three level. Barrels were stored on the top floor of a rickhouse for maximum exposure to Kentucky’s hot and cold weather cycles. This process produced a bourbon deep reddish amber in color with a rich, sweet, aromatic, caramel and vanilla scent. The taste is sweet, mellow, balanced, and smooth with toffee, caramel, cherries, raisins and subtle rye spiciness. It has a big mouthfeel with a long, pleasant finish. It is a great sipping whiskey.
